    Before starting a chat, select the KaCi Persona that matches the nature of your matter. You can switch between personas using the pill selector at the top of the chat screen:

    • KaCi 2 (Civil-Commercial): Use this persona for standard civil, commercial, statutory, contractual, and general everyday legal matters.

    💡 2. Managing Your Credits & Chat Memory

    How Chat Memory Works

    • Chats are Completely Separate: Agents do not read across different chats and have no awareness of what took place in another thread. Each chat is a self-contained workspace.

    • The "Re-Reading" Rule: Every time you send a new message within a thread, EquityFlow re-reads the entire conversation from the beginning to maintain full context. Because of this, very long chats consume more credits per message.

    How to Continue Long Cases Efficiently (The Continuity Brief)

    When a chat thread gets long and you want to save credits without losing your progress, use our built-in session compactor:

    1. Open the Strategy Library (or type / in the chat).

    2. Select the prompt: "Use this to compact the chat session".

    3. KaCi will condense your entire conversation into a structured Continuity Brief.

    4. Copy the Continuity Brief → Open a New Chat → Paste the Brief → Continue your case.

    This resets your credit consumption back to the lowest rate while carrying forward all vital facts, context, and strategic progress.

    Exhausting Your Allocation & Bolt-On Credits

    If you exhaust your monthly allocation, your workspaces will switch to "Read-Only" mode. You will never lose access to your files. To resume generating content, Challenger and Pro users can purchase one-time Bolt-On Credit Packs (500 credits for £12, 1,000 for £22, or 2,000 for £40). The system always uses your included monthly credits first, and Bolt-On credits roll over indefinitely.

    Managing Your Credit Burn Rate

    Every time you send a message, the AI must re-read the entire conversation history to maintain perfect context. Therefore, operating within a very long, multi-page chat thread will significantly increase your credit burn rate per message. To optimise your credits, keep your Inquiries focused on a single, specific issue. Once a document is finalised or a strategy is mapped, start a + New Inquiry for your next task.

    Context Degradation: When to Restart

    Complex administrative reasoning requires intense computational focus. Occasionally, if an Inquiry thread becomes too long or contains too many conflicting instructions, the AI's focus may degrade. If an agent appears to misunderstand your instructions or feels "stuck" in a loop, do not waste credits arguing with it. The most efficient tactical move is to start a new Inquiry, providing a clean, refined brief of the facts.
